How to fish it

• Short pops with the rod tip; let the rings settle before the next pop.
• Pause longer than you think — a lot of strikes come on the dead-still second.
• Work shade lines, stick-ups, and anywhere bait is flicking on top.

Warm months, early and late when bass look up. Match color to water: clear leans light, muddy leans dark.
