Fish Head Swim Jigs

The Fish Head Swim Jigs features a streamlined head design that lets it glide effortlessly through water, bouncing off cover and structure. Swim jigs are one of the easiest lures to fish - simply cast and retrieve at a steady pace.

Handcrafted by J&R Lures - a grandfather-grandson team (Jeff and Ray) handpainting, pouring, and assembling every lure by hand in small batches. Jeff started making lures at age 7; grandson Ray is learning to paint and already catching bigger bass than Jeff did at that age. Every lure is scent-infused for maximum fish-attracting power.

Pro Tips

• Cast near structure like docks, laydowns, and grass edges. A steady retrieve works best - the lead head is poured in front so the jig tracks true and deflects off obstacles.
• Best in pre-spawn (January-February) when bass are feeding heavily. In cold water, slow your retrieve; in warmer months, fish it early morning or evening when bass are most active.
• Pair with a paddle tail or swimbait trailer. Dark colors for murky water, light or translucent colors for clear water.
• Pair with a soft plastic trailer - creature bait, paddle tail, or swimbait. Soft plastics and jigs are bought separately so you can mix and match colors and sizes to match local forage.
